Security and Damage Deposit
The theater is rented on a "first come, first served" basis. A deposit is necessary to hold your desired rental date(s).
Your rental dates are not reserved until a deposit is received.
SECURITY AND DAMAGE DEPOSIT

The deposit amount is $1,000 or 20% of the Rental Schedule total, whichever is greater

This deposit does not count towards the rental fee

If there is no damage to the venue and no overages, then the deposit will be returned to you in full 30 calendar days after the end of the rental

In the notes field, enter the Account ID that appears in the upper-right corner of your Rental Schedule

The individual or organization issuing payment must be the same as the individual or organization who will be listed on the Rental Contract. We cannot accept payments issued from an account that does not match the information on the Rental Contract.
PAYING WITH A CHECK

Make the check payable to “Starbright School”, not “Starbright Theater”

In the Memo area, write the Account ID that appears in the upper-right corner of your Rental Schedule

Mail the check or drop it into Starbright School's mailbox, located next to the school's main entrance:

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Your rental date(s) become reserved when your deposit transaction clears.

The deposit alone is not sufficient for the rental to occur: all other requirements must also be met, including signing the Rental Contract, signing the Rental Schedule, providing the required insurance, and paying all due fees in full.

The deposit is refunded only after the rental has occurred. If the rental does not occur for any reason, then the deposit is not refunded.

The cost of any damage to the venue, damage to equipment, and any overages are subtracted from the deposit.

If a deposit refund is due, then it shall be issued within 30 days after the end of the rental.

Deposit refunds will be issued only to the individual or organization listed on the Rental Contract. Refunds cannot be issued to a third party.

Submitting the deposit constitutes your agreement to these terms.
