Liability Insurance Requirements
Renters must carry General Liability Insurance. The Certificate of Liability Insurance that you provide to Starbright must meet all of the requirements listed below.
Visit your Rental Process page and upload your Certificate of Insurance at least 30 business days before the rental.

When filling out the form, refer to the instructions below.
INSURED
Fill out your business name or personal name and your business address or personal address. Both must match the Rental Contract that you signed with Starbright Theater.
If the name and address does not match the Rental Contract, then the insurance will not be valid.
COVERAGE

Type of Insurance: Commercial General Liability -- Occurrence Policy

Policy Effective Date: first day of your rental (including all setup or rehearsal days)

Policy Expiration Date: last day of your rental

Each Occurrence: $1,000,000

Damage to Rented Premises: $300,000

Medical Expenses: $5,000

Personal and Adv Injury: $1,000,000
DESCRIPTION OF OPERATIONS / LOCATIONS
Make sure you select the event type that most closely matches your event.
If you will have an audience, then list number of audience members as 144 people, even if you don't expect a full house. Below are a few examples of correct "Description of Operations":

"Theatrical Stage Performance. Number of participants: 30 people. Number of audience: 144 people."

"Dance Recital. Number of participants: 8 people. Number of audience: 144 people."

"Film/Video shoot. Number of participants: 10 people. Number of audience: 0"
